The Brief

We were commissioned to document the construction of DPD’s new 47,145 sqft parcel distribution depot at Ozone Business Park, Howden. Developed by Horncastle and built by Hobson & Porter, this £4 million project required capturing key construction milestones to visually showcase the progression from an empty site to a fully operational logistics hub. The images were intended for use across social media, media updates, and internal displays, such as office walls and common areas.

Over the course of five site visits, we captured crucial stages of the build, from initial groundwork to the final touches, ensuring no pivotal moments, like the steel framework, were missed. The resulting high-quality photography illustrated the full transformation of the 4.5-acre site into a state-of-the-art distribution centre with 6,716 sqft of office space and parking for over 100 vehicles. These images helped DPD visually celebrate their new facility, which processes 20,000 packages daily, while reinforcing Ozone Business Park’s position as a key logistics hub, home to other major brands like DHL and Warburtons.
